AHU for a wagon factory in the railway sector
Rosenberg and Airtècnics have been supplying their products to the railway sector for years with fans for trains and also with air curtains for stations and hangars.
This time, thanks to the reliability and quality of our products, a large railway manufacturer has requested Rosenberg's professionalism to install an air handling unit with air conditioning in its wagon factory in eastern Germany. This AHU is designed for supply and exhaust air with heat recovery.
As the space for the AHU is very limited, the unit was built entirely as a monoblock on a base frame and the electrical wiring was laid out in all modules beforehand. The unit's proportions are 7 metres long by 3 metres high and 2.5 metres wide; and its weight is about 4 tonnes. The complex structure and installation has been a challenge due to the short time frame in which it had to be completed.
