Airtècnics air curtains land in the Portuguese capital with a recessed air curtain model: Recessed Dam air curtain. Airtècnics' distributor in Lisbon, Totalair, has achieved this project in a Swedish fashion chain through a maintenance company.
The establishment, with wide doors that remain open, needed a barrier-free system that would separate the environments in order to eliminate annoying draughts for users and workers, as well as to achieve the energy and economic savings that air curtains provide in air conditioning.
After evaluating the project, it was concluded that the air curtain best suited to the client's needs was the Dam recessed air curtain. The Dam recessed air curtain stands out for its versatility and the fact that it can be installed in false ceilings.
In this model, the suction and expulsion grille are integrated together with the frame in a single piece and hardly needs any maintenance. In this project, the standard white model was chosen for the decoration, but it can be customized with any colour from the RAL chart.
The fans of this air curtain are double suction fans with external rotor and low noise level, which makes it an unobtrusive device in commercial accesses. In addition, they can add extra energy savings if the curtain is configured with energy-saving EC motors.
In addition, three different types of heating can be incorporated, depending on convenience: hot water coil systems or three-stage electric heaters with regulation included and heat pump.
Airtècnics engineering team looks for the highest personalization of the projects to guarantee the highest energy saving for the final user. In this way, we help to protect the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.
