Airtècnis has adapted the production of its air curtains and the rest of its technology to the European regulations ErP2015. The new legislation has entered into force this same month of January and is compulsory for all those companies that manufacture or install their products in any of the thirty States of the European Union Members.
The Ecodesign directive (ErP) establishes a series of minimum requirements in terms of energy efficiency, NOx emissions and sound levels for motors and fans. The aim of applying these environmental policies are not other that comply with the international Kyoto protocols of reduction of CO2 emissions, and in particular achieve the objectives of the European plan 20/20/20 in 2020.
The updated ErP establishes efficiency levels much more restrictive than the ErP2013 that has been in force until now, for all air curtains and electric fans between 125 Watts and 500k Watts.
The regulation prohibits the use of less efficient products and supports the more efficient practices, responsible and sustainable.
