The control and regulation of air curtains is essential to ensure energy and cost savings. This is achieved when the performance of the devices is adapted to each circumstance. Airtècnics has developed its own regulation systems for its products: the basic control and the CLEVER advanced control.
The controls are designed with a simple and quick “Plug&Play” connection by means of a telephone cable with RJ45 connectors, thus avoiding errors. In this way, the connection between the control panel and the air curtain is established reliably, and no information is lost, even if the distance between air curtain and controller is long.
Through the ON/OFF contact of the controls, the air curtains are started or stopped. In addition, they are equipped with memory recovery systems that, in case of power failure, the device starts in the mode before the power failure.
2-speed range: Available for Optima and Optima built-in models. To regulate two ventilation stages and other characteristics depending on the type of heating.
5-speed range: It regulates five ventilation stages and different functions depending on the type of heating or more detailed controls. For models Windbox M-ECM-G-ECG, Windbox Recessed, Smart, Zen, Rund, Deco, Dam, Dam Recessed, Windbox L-XL, Invisair, Rotowind, Variwind, Compact Recessed, Kool, Duojet, Maxwell and Max.
Common controllers: For Optima, Optima Recessed, Windbox M-ECM-G-ECG, Windbox Recessed, Smart, Zen, Rund, Deco, Dam, Dam Recessed, Windbox L-XL, Invisair, Rotowind, Variwind, Compact Recessed, Kool, Duojet, Maxwell and Max.
Clever Control automatically adapts the operation of the air curtain according to the inlet conditions, thus maintaining comfort while saving energy. It optimizes ventilation and heating to create a barrier for optimal climate separation.
It can control and modify the heating stages, the ventilation speed according to the temperature and the selected programme; it can also be connected to centralized management systems, to other standard controls…
Compatible external sensors and accessories are available to help control and modify the performance of the air curtain, thus protecting the device and ensuring optimal operation and therefore the desired energy savings.
For example, by installing an opening contact on the door connected to the air curtain, if the door is closed, the air curtain can operate at lower performance or remain off. When the door is opened, the air curtain adapts the performance to protect the access.
Or, by connecting the air curtain to a room thermostat, the unit will adapt the heating stages to achieve the desired temperature and stop when it does.
In short, Airtècnis air curtain controls and regulators have been developed to optimize the operation of the devices with consequent energy savings.
