Rosenberg has installed an air handling unit with integrated heat recovery at a company in the chemical industry in Germany to supply fresh air to an indoor workshop with adjacent changing rooms.
The space available was very limited, so a Suprabox Comfort unit was chosen because they are very compact, yet highly efficient units. These units help to achieve energy savings in the ventilation systems of any interior space in which they are installed.
In this case, the model chosen was Suprabox Comfort horizontal and the installation was completed with a reheater designed to reinforce the unit in case the rooms cooled down and the system did not have the capacity to recover enough heat and its operation was compromised.
In addition, an electric pre-heater was also installed, which is used exclusively to ensure the operation of the system. This prevents the heat recovery unit from freezing up in winter if the heat recovery rate is higher than 90% and the humidity of the exhaust air is higher.
The Suprabox Comfort unit is available in six different sizes and offers airflows in the range of 800 to 5000 m3/h. The models can be configured with weather protection if installation on the roof of the building is required.
This unit complies with the hygiene requirements for ventilation equipment and its structure is designed with sandwich panels of 1 mm galvanised sheet metal and 40 mm internal insulation. Backward blade centrifugal fans with EC motor allow quiet and efficient operation.
