The luxurious Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center complex – also known as Kuwait Opera House – is inspired by the elaborate geometric forms of Islamic architecture that make up the rich ornamental exterior covering of each building. Contrasts of shadows and lights make the atmosphere of the spaces majestic and solemn, inviting a large audience in the precious building-jewel. Located in the capital Kuwait City, the imposing multidisciplinary space – whose construction has come to cost as much as 775 million dollars – occupies an area of 214 thousand square meters. It hosts theatres, auditorium, the national library for historical documents, cinemas and elegant public parks with beautiful fountains. Within this modern architectural wonder, numerous artistic performances, cultural events and musical entertainment take place to the point of representing a reference attraction for the entire region with immense economic value.
In the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, Airtècnics has made the first installation of design air curtains in Kuwait. For the project in question, 6 ZEN G2000A air curtains and 20 ZEN G1500A air curtains with front panels in stainless steel have been placed on the entrance doors, thanks to our Fawaz Trading & Engineering Services Co. W.L.L. local distributor – a pioneering group of the market, founded in Kuwait 41 years ago in May 1973.
At this point, enthusiastic visitors to Kuwait Opera House from all over the world can also enjoy exceptional comfort offered by the versatile, modern and efficient ZEN design air curtains for an even more complete sensory experience.
