The engineering team of Rosenberg Romania could install numerous Airtècnics air curtains in the accesses of the international airport of Brasov, the first to be built in Romania in thirty years.
For this project they have decided to install multiple Windbox air curtains, the best seller and most versatile model of the Airtècnics standard air curtains range. It is a robust and compact air curtain, which makes it a suitable option for commercial or industrial entrances.
The airport will be the third in number of terminals, behind Bucharest and Cluj airports. The 21 air curtains have been installed both vertically and horizontally and will ensure a thermal barrier for both technical spaces and passenger waiting areas. The use of air curtains at the entrances allows the separation of rooms without limiting the transit of people or vehicles.
The Windbox model is made of galvanized steel and painted in white RAL 9016, but can be customized according to the requirements of the interior design with the colors available in the RAL chart or manufactured in stainless steel, upon request. In the case of the Brasov airport project, they were distributed in white.
The air curtain fans are centrifugal and have five speeds. It can be EC fan, lower consumption and more efficient, electronics controlled, and in other hand the AC model.
One of the characteristics of the Airtècnics air curtains is its regulation system. Although the standard models come as standard with a Plug&Play wall-mounted controller with remote control, you can optionally optimise the control with the Clever advanced control. This intelligent control allows the speed and heating to be automatically regulated according to the setpoint/indoor/outdoor temperatures and the door status. In addition, the curtain can be connected to the central building control via Modbus protocol.
