The Nordic postal and logistics group Posten Norge AS founded in 1647 and owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications has relied on the air curtains and fan heaters of Airtècnics for the air conditioning of its Posten & Bring Logistics Center in Oslo.
Posten Norge AS develops and delivers integrated solutions in postal services, communications and logistics with their two brands, Posten and Bring. Posten concentrates on the consumer market in Norway, while Bring is aimed at the corporate market in the Nordic region.
The building is located at Alnabru logistic centre that consists of a shared intermodal terminal for consolidation and cross-docking of goods at north-eastern Oslo. Alnabru has direct contact with one of the biggest intermodal freight terminal in Norway.
It is a 100% automated distribution centre with 75 loading docks. For each door, a 3 meters water heated air curtain has been installed to protect the loading dock. For this application Posten Norge choose our standard air curtain model, Windbox 3000 P86 air curtain.
Moreover, several models of fan heaters have been installed to achieve a comfortable temperature, especially during the winter. Depending on the characteristics of the area where the fan heaters should be installed, they have been installed Basic fan heater 350 and 450, or horizontal fan heater.
Posten & Bring Logistics Center is environmentally friendly as all new terminals Posten Norge is building. They are very committed to the environment and sustainability and have set a new environmental goal, aims to use only renewable energy sources in its vehicles and buildings by 2025.
