An Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a configuration of components arranged in modules that are fully adaptable to the specific requirements of the intended application. These units manage the air and modify its qualities and properties of temperature, humidity and quality. They also manage the behaviour with respect to velocity and pressure.
The main advantage of installing an AHU is that the treated air will be exactly in the intended conditions thanks to the customisation possibilities and the high configurability of the modules.
The air handling units are constructed with a galvanised steel or aluminium profile structure and cast aluminium or plastic corner pieces. The double-skinned panels, also known as sandwich panels, are equipped with acoustic and thermal insulation made of non-flammable mineral wool. In addition to galvanised steel panels and frame construction, it is also possible to select steel, aluminium and stainless steel clad versions. For smaller modules, the base frame is manufactured in various heights from galvanised and laminated sheet steel. Larger modules have a welded base frame (primed or galvanised).

The units consist of a frame structure with double-walled panels, which are acoustically and thermally insulated. The individual modules for filter, fan, heater, cooler, heat recovery and sound insulation among others, as well as the frame materials, are assembled based on the specific needs and requirements of the installation.
UTA Airbox without frame
The F40 series is manufactured in a frameless design as the construction of the panels is carried out to comply with the function and shape of the frame. The panels are screwed together from the outside, so the units have a smooth surface on the inside and are completely watertight.
UTA Airbox with frame
The S60 and T60 series are made of aluminium or galvanised steel profiles and are screwed to the walls from the outside, so that the interior is completely smooth and airtight, making the units compliant with the VDI 6022 hygiene regulations.
