Airtècnics travels around the world with Airtecnics North America and lands in Canada with CSA-certified air curtains. The parking lobby of IKEA Ottawa has solved its draft problems and, thanks to the Windbox air curtains, the entrance is now protected against pollutant fumes from vehicle exhausts.
On this occasion, three Windbox air curtains have been installed at the automatic doors of the Swedish establishment. Windbox is a versatile model that perfectly suits both commercial spaces and the industrial sector.
The three air curtains are energy-efficient thanks to the EC motors of the fans and cover the entire door with their 2500 mm length. Additionally, they are equipped with electric heating, essential for Ottawa's cold winters.
Multiple installation configurations
One of the most distinctive features of the Windbox air curtain is its ability to be installed in up to nine different configurations, thanks to the integration of various components. This, combined with the wide variety of available finishes, makes it an extremely versatile air curtain.
The Windbox air curtain has earned CSA certification in accordance with UL and CSA standards and AMCA certification for its presence in North American markets, making the IKEA Ottawa project possible.
